Scenic Estates, Section II (a 12.8-acre, 40-lot development in Brenham, Texas) began with a preliminary engineering report, including an inventory and evaluation of existing utilities and outline of necessary enhancements; preliminary estimate of probable cost for streets, drainage, utilities, sitework, engineering, surveying and contingencies and a preliminary layout plan. Preliminary and final plats were prepared and submitted to the City of Brenham and Washington County for approval. Paving and drainage improvements included excavation, 6-inch subgrade stabilization, 6-inch base, 1-1/2-inch HMAC, curb and gutter, inlets, 18-inch RCP, 24-inch RCP, 30-inch RCP, lot grading and seeding. Wastewater improvements included 6-inch PVC line, manholes, cleanouts, and long and short services. Water improvements included 6-inch PVC, fire hydrants, valves, short and long services.
