The firm is staffed by qualified individuals who are well versed in all
phases of their profession. The successful integration of staff
expertise and innovative, cost-effective planning enables PK to provide
services to clients in all areas of municipal, industrial and private
development.
PK is a civil engineering design firm originally established in 1979 as
J. E. Pledger and Associates in Brenham, Texas and Charles A. Kalkomey
Engineering Company in Rosenberg, Texas. In 1989, after ten (10) years
of successful, independent operation, the two firms merged into what is
today PK. Since this establishment, the firm has grown considerably in
size and capabilities and today is one of the largest engineering
consulting firms in the area. PK has been supported in the field and
office by the staff of Pledger Reue and Associates, Inc. - Land
Surveyors which merged with PK in 1992.
